The Process

Step 1

During your 30 minute free consultation we will discuss goals, manage expectations, and gather information to create your intention and personalized Yoga Nidra script.

Step 2

Combining your needs and script building techniques, your Yoga Nidra experience is formulated, refined, and edited. Sandie is very selective with word and visualization choices based on each individual’s needs and preferences.

Step 3

Release expectations: it is a BEing, not a DOing state of regenerative relaxation. Through regular practice, the practitioner learns to rest in the hypnagogic state. 

Practitioners will need a safe, quiet space where they can be undisturbed for at least 45 minutes. They will need: headphones, a bolster for under or between the knees, a blanket, an eye-mask/pillow, and comfortable clothing.

Step 4

45 minute Yoga Nidra = 3 hours of rest. Each session will be a unique experience with unique results. Practitioners feel rested and rejuvenated, lighter and less burdened by their surroundings. You are encouraged to journal your experiences. The results are cumulative as the practice builds on itself. Often there is a subtle and gradual reduction in stress and irritation with life’s daily challenges.
